thanks for the advice, theres not much i can do about the 90deg bends due to space but the duct lengths are pretty much in scale with the picture.
this is the description of the fan:

and the filter:

"Budget carbon filters are just as effective at removing odour as a standard filter. However, they're non refilliable and need to be changed every 6-12 months. But at such low prices, this can actually work out very economical.

Budget carbon filter BF240 matches RVK 125-A1. To install, simply attach your ducting to the outlet on the carbon filter. "
