Are you a hippy?
Did I miss something, or was "hippy" not a name given to that culture
by popular media? Much like all the other groups of people that have
their own ideas on music and ways off life. So I try not label myself
so that I fit into that nice little package with a bow on top.

i hate labels. i hate people who use the label "hippie" its just as stupid as any other label. just be yourself. you dont need to "stop bateing" or "grow long hair" to be something.

Under that definition, I think I only qualify for the first part. "Extremely liberal" would be a stretch for me, for although that would appear to be my position at first glance, I don't really believe it can be made into a social "position." Real peace occurs only within the individual--social harmony should be striven for, but human unity is an individual experience that has to be discovered by each person on his or her own. If change is going to happen, it has to be on a more fundamental level of human consciousness, wherein we each realize that all of us are, and always have been, one.
