Ok, here's the deal: Tonight my gf and me went back to her house to get her listerine stuff for her tongue (she has it pierced and needs to keep it clean) and well, She has a neice (SP?) that is like 3 years old and her neice is actually really smart. So well, me and my gf smoked while she was in the car once and didn't think twice about it. Well, tonight her neice told my gf's whole family during their dinner (me and my gf were not there at the moment) that me and her smoked. Well, her mom just about had a cow. Basically, her mom said the rest of dinner was spent in silence. They said that they expected more from my gf and all this stuff and they thought she was a totally good girl. Now, her mom liked me and all, but now, i think she hates me. Her mom told her that i got marks knocked down on me now because she knows i smoke. This is totally stupid. I mean, my gf is 18 and she can do whatever the hell she wants. I just don't know.. now i feel awkward around her mom. I wish her neice didn't have such a big ass mouth.. stuff like this pisses me off.

That is a totally selfish statement and arrogant beyond belief, respect those that don't as much as you do those who do.

Smoking is bad for your health and I can understand her parents reaction since there are more than enough "stupid" stoners out there to make us all look bad,it's kinda like the way people think that all bikers are greasy dirty drug hounds.

The simple truth is that we must accept that for everyone of us who is pro cannabis there is someone who believes (thats their right) that it is a bad thing and we must respect their opinion.Your gf's mom is simply trying to protect her daughter and the only way you are going to convince her that you aren't leading her daughter astray is to be a polite and respectful person, and of course you could always try being a little more discrete.

Just because we choose to do something that if we are honest is not very good for us that doesn't mean that others have to accept it.

Live and let live and when in someones home respect their rules just as you would expect them to respect yours if they were in your home.

If you can show that you also want only good for this womans daughter and be respectful then you have a better chance than if you start being the big man and preaching and telling them "I'm gonna do whatever I want regardless of how you feel".
