Actually, is it possible to have only 1 compartment, move the height down to 5 or 6 feet and use only the HPS light. Can I then grow the weed from seeds to flowering, then cut them down and regrow right after harvest? Because that would be a lot simpler to make!! lol

your original plan is golden... but use tokudai's advice and you will have one solid ass grow.

Definately go with CFLs for the veg down below and install two diferent exaust fans. and the two door idea is key also.

Then when your done building it... plug everything into a surge protector, and plug the surge protector into a light timer. Then you have to do shit except water the sluts.

And if you really wanna be pimpin... custom build a timered watering system... Then it will really be 'out of site out of mind'

But that day was like a year ago and I havent forgotten it. I am thinking of making a ply wood rectangle 2x2x8 feet with a 2.5 foot compartment on the bottom for vegging, and a 5.5 foot compartment on the top for flowering. I plan to put this together with a door on the front and whatnot, but im not sure what I should do to the inside. Should I paint it white, or put tinfoil around the inside?
