well outside you can't really change when it starts to flower or end veg it all depends on nature. But within the next 2 weeks it should start showing signs of flower. As far as the nutes in soil if you used good soil the 1st month you are probally ok then feed them maybe 1 time a week with some nutes, the rest of the time just water.
