cant seem to get it right! hydro or soil

    hi friends,
i'm frustrated and confused.. my first try went well.. then i killed it (too much nukes).

my second try using the humidity dome, was working, then i followed some suggestions and took it off, and 5 for 5 did not break ground (using rockwool) (ment for dwc hydro).

ok, so i tried it again in soil.. i germinated using this method:

it actually works every time! so when i got the root i planted in soil not too far down (root down) and put plastic wrap over the top for humidity and placed the pots over a heating pad. once seedling broke ground i took the plastic wrap off like i read to do.. and they havent grown a bit since (see pics).

i have 2 more big bud seeds left.. but worried on my skills of killing them. i really dont what else to do.

    any help would be appreciated!
    thanks.

cant seem to get it right! hydro or soil

I put 24 seeds in soil 3 weeks ago to see what would happen.
I have now had to give some plants away because ive not got the room for them all. 18 of the 24 came up and they were in my wardrobe. No extra heat or humidity.
Since then, they have been in the garden and i water them every now and again.
Some look really good, the others are a little spindly but i have heard its ok to plant the longer stem deeper. Anyone know if this is true?

So basically i would be patient and see what happens cos my seedlings seemed to stop growing but now have continued quite nicely.

    Hey,

they look ok to me. Just make sure the soil is moist and the light isn't too strong and they should be fine. You should mist them as well. If they dry out now, its all over.
