I was just a wee lad, but I remember it quite well.

dude i did the same too, i was walking back home from school. I saw some pieces of wood with nails still in em. I for some reason decide to step on the nails, they were breaking off like a snap...but ONE nail didnt snap. OMG the pain didnt set in all the way but my neighbor took me in and told my mom, luckily i had my tetnis(sp) shot already so i was strraight. I needed crutches and a band aid..
