    First CFL grow

Nice grow man. Hope everything keeps up and I am quite sorry to hear about the treachery that occured against you. I hope the remaining plants do well. Oh, and the second pic on your recent post, was it topped or LST?

Yeah well those filthy swine only got away with a bunch of
leafs. All that hard work down the drain is a real heart braker
though. I still brake out in a sweat when I think about it.

That plant is topped and tied down the amount of space I have
I ended up having to train it also.

A good training method is to take the growing shoots and bend it to the side of the plant till it is just about pointing down. This will work faster than tradition 90 degree LST. What should happen is the branches just below the growing shoot will start acting like the top colas and the main cola will catch up and you should eventually end up with 3 top colas. Hope everything continues growing well.

Thanks kush07 I really needed to start training earlier I know.
I am definitely going to have to train the next plants that I
grow in this box way earlier, right off the bat.

I had one grow into the lights last night and fry three leafs.
grrrrrrr. I raised the lights and when they cut off I gave
those leafs a good soaking hopefully they will make somewhat
    of a recovery.

Sorry to hear bout those leafs. If they are severly damaged then just cut that leaf stem off at the base cause it isn't helping you at all. Another thing, not sure if you already know this but here it is, Wait to train your plants till at LEAST the fourth node has shown. Any earlier and it is just too much stress. Hope it keeps growing well.

Yeah they where beyond help, cooked to a crisp haha.
I cut the burned ones off yesterday they were burned
so bad they crumbeled at touching them.

Yeah it was kinda of a late training effort on this grow.
I topped it early (to early actually) thinking it would grow
a bit shorter than it has.

Some more low quality update pics.

The first 2 pics are of the plant that grew into the light and buned
a few leafs that have been clipped now.

The other 2 are of the bushy one.

So far all that has been used on these plants are 20-20-20
fish fertilizer and few other things here and there like crushed
egg shells soaked in warm water over night and a few
    earth worms in the soil.

Looking good. It seems that the little roast didn't leave a profound impact. A couple questions; 1) how tall are they when you put them into 12/12? 2) Do you plant to or do you have any warm CFL lights and if so how many compared to cool CFL lights? 3) Do you plan to do any triming to your plant or will you go au natural?

They are both a little over a foot tall.

I have not got any warms yet. How many watts of the warms
would you recommend compared to the three 42 watt=126 watts
that I have now? I might not even use any warms on this grow
because I have no idea where I would put them, the only thing
I could do is replace one of the 42 watts I have now with a warm.
After this grow im going to have to make some changes on the
cabinet they are in to increase space.

I don't plan on trimming anything off other than dead/dieng
    foliage.
