First CFL grow

I was a bit skeptical of these lights when I first herd of
them, not anymore. This is a sativa plant I have been
experimenting with under these lights (bag seed). I
wanted to see how it went before investing in any
seeds/strains.

First pic is the day it went under 2 CFL's now 3
and around a week and a half of growth since then.
yeah its stretched I know. I took it out from under
a Hps that was putting out to much heat and stuck
it in a window till I got the CFL's.

The leafs are not yellowed/burnt like they appear in
a few of those pics......again shitty web cam

This is the other plant I have under the CFL lights.

dimensions of the grow box:Width= 20" Height=36"
Lighting: three 42 watt CFL's = 6,000 lumens
white for reflection
(not enough light for that amount of space?)
I think 2 plants for this was one to many I
believe the sativa is going to shadow the
indica and block light from getting to it.

Any suggestions from people that have used CFL's
before would be greatly appreciated.

That'd be why I want my plants on a big ass lazy susan being rotated by the guts of my oldest electric drill.

I get home from work.

hey yabatab , what make are your CFL's? mine are from globe and are rated at 42w 2750lumens@2700K even their 40w gives 2650lumens yours seem kind of low...

Lights of america/energy star-7 year bulb

It was the CFL with the highest lumen out
put I could find at Walmart.

I think im going to get a three pack of the
smaller CFL's for supplement lighting.

My favourite thing is watching people select CFLs in a walmart. You can tell wich ones are there to grow dope and wich arent. Working in a walmart is better than you think, you meet so many local growers.

LOL.....I bought a bunch of other shit I didn't need when I got
those lights. Because when I saw what they looked like I was
thinking "damn this looks like a fucking grow light." So I bought
some candy and a Beatles Cd (maybe not the right choices
to make it not look like I was getting that light to grow weed)
and went to the check out girl that had tattoos.

Ye my coming up grow is going to be under CFL's...
My last grow was sort of successfull under CFL's...

Then again i have only done 1 grow
