I've been conned only once in my time.

I was wanting some shrooms, so I put in $45 and my buddy put in another $45 for an ounce of shrooms. These guys claimed they could get it for that price. My buddy said he knew these guys for like 3years and said he could trust him, so I trusted him. The 2 guys who said they could get the shrooms are "talking" on the cell phone and everything, making this "deal."

They take off to go and get them, then my buddy who pitched in with me, says he has to go to the corner store quick and he'll be back, so there I am, alone, waiting for some shrooms.

Hours pass by, no word from them or my pal who went to the store. They never returned and I never saw those 2 guys again. My buddy comes back the next morning.

I later found out that the 3 of them went crack binging that night and they needed the extra cash from me, so they conned me, big time.

That's the only time I've been conned.
