Starcraft works fine with XP

I've been playing it for a couple of months now

It brings back memories of the good old days, and starcraft LAN parties. truly the greatest RTS and possible greatest game of all time

the reason it doesn't work on that other guy's comp is because he has an old disc. The disc has it's own version that is updated through future manufacturing which is why the newer discs can run on xp. The old discs aren't up to date enough yet.
