I had more then my fill of saw half way through the first one. Its extremely unrealistic in terms of them creating a believeable enviroment. I found it to be very cheesy and boring.

Yeah they really should have stopped with the first one. That one I liked, but honestly if they keep making sequels, these annual Halloween releases might actually make the first one that much worse. The second one was very 'out-there' in terms of believeabilty, and it made elderly men stricken to wheelchairs a hell of a lot scarier! Come on Hollywood, stop running good things into the ground! To start, there's only so much you can do with a name like SAW. Adding cheesy, dark, hardcore music to violent scenes no longer holds my attention.
But, uhhh, are Shaq and Dr. Phil in the 3rd one?

I liked the first one in terms of confinement... the characters only had eachother, they could only work out the 'puzzle' by working together, yet both were reluctant to do so.
The second one was more clever, but that guy who reckons hes hard spoilt the whole film. I especially liked the ending... "your son is in a safe place"LOVED IT!
I dont view these films as a gorefest; its the twists and unpredictability that make them so watchable. The third should be the last one though. Its like the Die Hard films - make another, and theyll just be shite. Three is enough thanks.
