I know everyones hung up on the Israeli invasion of Gaza and Lebanon but what about all the shit going on in Somalia?

With most of the country controlled by militia and the Somali military having no power to do anything, and the reports by militia, farmers and citizens that Ethiopian troops have crossed the border, its a wonder theres no talk about it.

Whats everyone thoughts on it all?

Back in Feb. I was in jail with a dude from Somalia. He said that the wars have been going on for over 40 years....had some NASTY scars to prove he'd been in it. He told me that it's primarily tribal shit, not like extremists or like other regions. Apparently these people will aquire enough money to send their kids over here or Europe to get them away from the war....they get their educations.........good jobs.......then send money home to their families. THAT money is then used to buy newer and better weapons to kill people in the other tribes. Vicious cycle as he stated.
