Wtf, banner in thread listings?

Okay...its reached infestation proportions. As in, ads like spider-mites ffs! On my end, using the Maxthon browser (which shames that paltry firefox wannabee) I have blank spaces all over...which indicates to me an ad is present on the other side of Maxthon's ad-blocker.

It reminds me of going into town...parking...and as soon as I hit the sidewalk, being inundated with panhandlers trying to score a nickel.

If the whomevers are spending more than $50 per year, per 100 gigabytes of available storage, FTP to boot...you're getting hosed. Hellz, theres plenty of free servers that have more features available than ya can shake a stick at.

And really...you want folks to throw down $25 yank for the ability to message other members??? If ya really want that sort of thing to fly...make it $1 and the watch the volume of café subscribers go through the roof.

As well as...in a world where anonymity is a premium...it'd be nice for a person to be able to erase their tracks should the concern for privacy become a concern.

Hmm...should I start my own fledgling forum...cannabis.pot or maybe even marijuana.pot/forever100%adfree ?

Or maybe campaign for other members to click the hell out of the ads, thus, making the bill for that space outweigh the potential profit from having an ad hanging around?

Nahhh...my rebel without pause days are behind me. I just know that people tend to not like unwanted crap shoved in their face and are going to have to say something about their displeasure.

Yeah, there's banners of ads in the middle of threads. I used AdMuncher and got rid of it.
