Well looks like Ill just have to pick up another pair of 1000s. Craigslist rocks!! I got my last 2 hps 1000s for $300/pair. Almost brand new.

Would you guys attempt 150 plants with 4x1000 watts? Thats about 25watts/plant. A little low for my liking but not bad. With some tracks, what would 4x1000 watt lights simulate in light output (theoretical of course)? If we have 6 foot rails for a pair of 1000 watt lights, how much will this extend the growing area without sacrificing much yield?

I have about $1500 to work with. I still need a fair amount of stuff.
- 2 more HPS lights = $300
- 4 pairs of yoyos = $80
- 4 centrifugal fans = $300
- Associated ducting = $50
- RO Water = $200
- Assorted building materials (wood, drywall, paint, etc) = $250
- Fluros for clones = $200
- Matierals for cloning machine = $150
- Donation to friend for 150 clones = $100-$150 and small part of crop
- Carbon Filter = $100
- Self-made odor control = $50
- Light Rail Tracks (if we decide to do that) = $350 for 2

Aside from how well tracks work, Im also unsure of what to use to hold the soil. I was planning on packing long 6" pots together but after seeing Tramble's planter box, I am very intrigued by its cost and simplicity. Although it would be much more difficult to remove a plant if it had a specific problem or something and cleanup sounds difficult. Not that that is a big concern, I have some very nice root cutting saws.
