Psychedelic strains
Just wondering if anyone has grown and smoked or knows of any strains that were particularly psychedelic/trippy/visual compared to other strains. Do they tend to be more sativa or indica?

its more in the time you harvestm if you let it go for a long time most indicas will get more of that other chemical, cbd or something like that.

lrt the trichomes go to milky white and then to a light amber like color. alot like the color of fresh pine sap, i have used that for reference. it will take probably an extra week or so.

thanks for the tip bro! Does this have any effect on the potency of the herb? I mean does it make it weaker/stronger, no change except for a more heady trip? I'm going to start budding a pair of Ice plants soon, so I'll have a good chance to experiment.

errrrrrrrr.........
isnt it the other way around?
The later the plant is left budding, the more "stoned" effect, it's also heavier, which explains why 90% of the puff I have bought makes me mong out. (heavier weight although less skunk)
The earlier the harvest the more white pistils and the more mental buzz.

okay, heres what i read:
the longer the plant is left budding, the more CBN builds up. CBN is a product of the breakdown of THC, and it causes the heavy eyelids and laziness that i love so much =oP the longer you let the plant bud, the more cannibinoids build up in the flower, making it more narcoticy potent. the earlier you harvest, the more light and clear high you get.

You might also want to mention that Sativas give a trippy high, definitely not indicas. Indicas are couch stones, the longer you wait the more dead you'll get. Harvesting too early and it'll probably just be a weaker narcotic stone. Definitely go with the Sativas bro if you want that trippy feeling. Although they take much longer to flower.
