QUICK, found these on e-bay and wanted to know what everyone thought about them, thought it might be a good way to get these lights at a good price?// PLEASE HELP???????????

Unless you have 277V at your house, which most likely you don't, these lights are worthless. BTW, plenty of people buy from eBay without problem.

buy them for us and put a fake ad in paper and we take them and use them as if they bought them and not used them and sold them to us????
Just a thought to save a couple of dollars for start-up???????

Voltage wrong. Unless you have 220 in your grow room which is unlikely.
Does not include buld or reflector. You need those too and they're pricey.
Shipping costs too high.
And most important, a remote ballast is way preferable for the average grower. That ballast is permanently affixed to the socket, which means you have to hang the whole thing and you'll need beefy anchors for that. A ballast can weigh 10-40 lbs!!! You really want one that has the ballast in a box with a handle on it, and a nice LONG cord going to the socket so you can just hange the light itself- By the time you figure in the reflector and bulb, we're talking hanging 2-5lbs as opposed to 15-45!!! Go to inside sun if you want to save a few bucks. They're cheap, weird service, decent products, don't buy the reconditioned ones though. http://www.insidesun.com/index.php/action/item/id/87/

If I were you I would NOT I repeat..I would NOT buy a HID light over e-Bay.

Just buy PHILIPS Daylight (!!!) ONLY 27W. For 15 CAN w/tax you get 2 flourscent bulbs that are:
5000k cool
1660 Limens
CRI 83
100W/27W
10000 hr Life
There great, Im using them now with 2 goose lamps to get them as close as possible to the plant (1-2 inchs)
