    I can't wait 'till Bumbershoot.
For those of you who don't know what Bumbershoot is: it's like this three day long festival in Seattle held at the Seattle Center, theres all kinds of activities, foods from around the world, and concerts. It's a really chill place to be.http://bumbershoot.org
anyone else going to Bumbershoot? the mainstage lineup sounds like it's going
to be pretty good, seems like it's more hip-hop than indie though.
I'm a little disappointed that Modest Mouse hasn't been playing at it
    the last few years.

I think I might go on Sunday to see Kanye West, the whole day on Monday though at the mainstage would be awesome; Steve Miller Band, Atmosphere, A Tribe Called Quest. I remember my first Bumbershoot I went too was to see Modest Mouse on the mainstage in the stadium, it was rad everyone was toking.

and it's already as crowded as fuck.

You gotta get there really early if you wanna get a free wristband to see a mainstage show like the steve miller band

and the tickets to get in are 20 to 100 bucks!
this used to be a free festval.
it was began by the city of seattle as a way to ease the tension during the viet nam war.
the city fathers knew that in the summer it began, there would be rioting in downtown, so they started a music festival

yeah, the more mainstream/well known musicians that come the more crowded it is.

I miss bumbershoot... I used to live in Seattle (Kent), and having an amazing music festival in my backyard was nice.
