Soil, just go to a few greenhouses and buy a well priced soil without nutes in it, sativa should be fairly easy to control with proper lighting (in scrog), but nearly any indica you can find "locally" would probably work better for you. Trust me, you will learn a ton on this grow, and be able to apply it to your next, but searching the forums and reading for a few hours/days will help far more than you know.
