Just Passed Pre-Employ at Labcorp by Substituting

OK...I promised myself that I would post in an effort to help anyone out there that I can. I just moved to south Florida from Massachusetts. I learned the hard way that Florida has this "drug free workplace" mumbo jumbo B.S. In Massachusetts I NEVER had to piss in a cup for a job. Too many bleeding heart liberals. This is one time that I actually agree with them! Anyhoo....I have smoked about 2-3 bowls everyday for about 20 years. I am a night smoker and I smoke pretty good shit. I had about a week's notice for this test and I knew it would be hard to get clean in a week. After reading EVERY post on this message board (wish I was kidding but I am not LOL) I figured substitution was best. I went with a real substitute at Ureasample.com. I am NOT affiliated with the company as I suspect some other posters might be.

I ordered the sample and the transport kit. It goes under your arm and a tube funnels down to your crotch. The kit came with EXCELLENT instructions which I followed to a tee. The only difference being that once I moved the sample from the vacuum pack sealed container to the transport kit I noticed the temp went down to about 94. That made me a little nervous so I placed the transport kit container on an electric heat pad for about ten minutes to get it back up to around 98. There is a temp strip right on the transport kit. I also took other poster's advice and bought a small digital thermometer at Walgreens for $5. I strapped on the kit and off I went albeit nervous as hell!!!

I took my test at Labcorp in Tamarac Florida. (Ft Lauderdale area) I wish other posters had disclosed where they went just in case I was near by I could go to the same lab pretty much knowing EXACTLY what to expect. I am suggesting that others do the same going forward in an effort to help others out as much as possible. :thumbsup:

I have to say the test was a breeze. They took my ID and I waited about 15 minutes. The collector was a young guy and he was as cool as they come. He DID NOT ask me to empty my pockets or anything. He gave me the container and said do not flush or wash my hands. The toilet water was blue. There was a sink in there and if I had to I could have diluted without anyone hearing. I was able to double lock the door. I smuggled the digital thermometer into the bathroom in my sock.

The transport kit had a small tube that ran down to my crotch area. I simply pulled the tube out and filled the cup. There was a temp. strip on the container but I still checked the sample with my digital thermometer. The temp was 97.1 so I knew I was in good shape. I then gave the sample to the collector. I am almost positive that he did not closely check the temp. strip on the sample. I think he knew it was warm and and fine with that. I am not 100% sure about that, however. He might have checked when he had me wash my hands after the test.

I checked the form and he did sign off on the temp. being within the proper range. I initialed the sample and filled out the form and off I went!:dance:

I strongly recommend ureasample.com. The sample came overnight as promised. It was sent very discreetly too.

I hope this helps some folks out there that are nervous as hell. I was NOT frisked or asked to empty my pockets. I had complete privacy and I know that no one was listening outside the door.

Thanks for sharing brother. Believe me, I read every post on here as well and I passed with QF 4. Good job my man and thanks for sharing your experience. I know that if it wasn't for this site, I would have probably fumbled up a dilution attempt.

Thanks to all. Again, if it was not for this site I would have been screwed as I had planned to mask or dilute. How long do you think it will be before they ban selling urine or synthetics? I am beginning to see a lot more hair testing. Any idea how long before they stop urine and go just with hair testing in corporate America?
