    Getting dad to smoke?

I am contemplating on an idea I have. My father is the nicest guy I've ever known and is a very philisophical person. He was a pretty high ranking officer in the military through his 20's, he then became a police officer and eventually into the FBI, he is a decorated officer with many medals and spent nearly his entire life battling against a lot of high rated criminals and has saved numerous lives. I'm very proud of him as he is now retired and lives in a nice house on a lake in the North GA mountains and just enjoys spending his days relaxing on his boat. In my opinion, he would find a great joy and a new found sense of life with smoking herb, but I just can't decide how or if I should bring this up to him. I know for a 100% certanty that he has not ever smoked in his life, and I know he's my father and only I would know for sure, but I was curious as to if anyone else has ever tried to convince his/her parents to smoke? My father is very open minded, but it's just the fact that he has no idea whatsoever that cannabis is actually a gift from the Earth rather than whatever the hell the government says about it. Anyone have an opinion on how or if I should go about it?

If it would work, it would probably be a good experience. But he might be a little biased due to the fact that he was a cop. Trust me he knows all about marijuana, as any police officer has more than enough experience with what they view as the dangers of it.
