I liked my Army job in Grenada, once the hostilities had died down and we'd kicked the Cubans' asses back to Cuba. Basically, my job was listening to the music played on the radio station we built there for 17 hours every other day or so, and it was mostly nonstop reggae music.

Pot was everywhere, and it was super cheap, $120 per POUND, so I was constantly baked. On the off days, I'd hit the (gorgeous) beaches, dance in the streets of St. George's with the natives, hang out with Army and Grenadian friends, and generally get ripped on pot and/or rum.

The music did grate on me after a few months, so I got wasted one evening, and me and a friend intercepted the radio signal (which was piped to us from St. George's, the capital), and replaced their Sunday night 'Quiet Hour' (religiously themed show) with a smattering of AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Ted Nugent and the like, which could be heard from the coast of Brazil all the way up to the southern tip of Florida. When the FCC investigated, I told them something along the lines of, "Yes, I recall that night. There were some odd aberrations in the ionosphere that evening causing a multitude of propogation irregularities..." and their eyes glazed over, and they left with that mystery unsolved. Heh.
