    Underground comix

Anyone interested in underground horror and gore comix, feel free to check out my site. I think a lot of you would dig the 70s coloring style I use. Feedback is heavily encouraged, just keep in mind these are lowbrow and not to be taken too seriously...in other words, FUN.http://www.bcomix.com

Uhh, why? Am I suppossed to mention weed?

Underground comix and marijuana use have a lot in common. Pretty much the same wavelength in our culture.

That's some great stuff! I was never a formal comix "collector", but I kept hundreds that I bought in the 70's such as SLOW DEATH, AVENGING WORLD (DITCO), UP FROM THE DEEP, DEVIANT SLICE, DEATH RATTLE, SLOW DEATH, PORK (GREAT raunch from S. Clay Wilson!), SNATCH, MOTHER OATS, ARMAGEDDON, a few from the late Vaughn Bode (whom I once met), and many more.

    Keep it up!

    This is nice stuff man...

Reminds me of stuff I used to draw -- same style atleast and always full of shock factor. Heh.

Nice to see this kind of stuff is still around and the anime scene hasn't completely destroyed all other styles of art...

Oh yeah...look up Jeff Gaither if you want, he's probably one of the more influential artists for me. It's very similar to this stuff.

That's what I was hoping for by coming here...finding an S. Clay Wilson fan!! He's been my major influence. Next to Kirby, of course. Thanks! I'm glad you picked up on that from my stuff.

Yes, I am also fed up with everything looking anime or manga.
    Yeah Gaither is awesome!

Oh, and I wanted to mention earlier (on the Wilson thing) that I recently picked up a good copy of his comic "Bent".

Damn I said 'stuff' four times in that last post, just noticed...

I'm not too big on comics but I really like your style man.

Maybe I'll get around to buying a couple if I can scrap some cash together. Yes I'm that broke at the moment...
