outdoor growing.. please help

so i have 2 sprouts in my flower garden and im going to use an ice cream container to block light at night because theres alot of light shineing from the building nextdoor.. im wondering if i coverd the inside with tinfoil would this help ?? just a quick question thank..

tin foil is a reflectant, NO you do not want that (youre tryin to block light) not bounce it around.... paint the inside black and make sure its dry and all fumes are gone before you cover them, and that should make it light proof

dude your sprouts will probably like the light at night.. i run my plants at 24 hours of light everyday.. they love it!
