Yes, I agree, some of the fans are quite out there, but it's their thing. Slayer fans are original, and when I saw them on their GHUA tour in 2001, the fans were crazier than any fans I have ever seen. You don't see energy like you do at a Slayer show, the fans, the pits, everything!

I like them because they have stayed true to their music and haven't sold out, but, we all like different things, right. Like me, I can't stand Black Metal. I can make better music through my armpits. Just playing.
