well based on Donnie Darko: to travel through time u need a spaceship to travel faster than the speed of light, then while in this spaceship traveling the speed of light u need to find a wormhole and go through it, which would then take u to another time

What happens during a psychedelic expedition is all a matter of speculation. There is no certain way to pinpoint what EXACTLY is going on but you do get a sense of some basic things. You definitely leave your body and wherever you are headed your ego is NOT allowed, so the compounds first rid you of this nasty disease (Yes I categorize the human ego as a disease).

I have found that people with large inflated egos have a lot of problems with psychedelics, they are so attached to their ego that when the compounds dissolve this ego, they feel like they are dying, which immediately starts your expedition off on a bad foot and unless you have an experienced tripper around you could go into a downward spiral into your own nightmarish thoughts. This is the reason why I believe that most psychedelics are not accepted into western society and culture. I mean we have these native tribes in the Amazon that have basic knowledge of bio-molecular science which they claim to have gained from â??natureâ?�.

Now this is the brain twister and I have had similar thoughts and experiences that lead me to believe this theory as well. When you consume and digest these compounds you gain access to a vast active living intelligence system. A limitless boundless archive of information that is living and intelligent. Now obviously this theory implies that something of a higher intelligence had to create this system, but as to whom did I could not tell you. Every time I venture out I know there is so much information that I do not perceive but I can sense it, its all around you. I have encountered many strange bizarre things some of which I cannot explain with words. Vie experienced everything from a beauty so pure you would think you were in heaven, and evil so horrid and terrifying that I wouldnâ??t want to talk about it.

To me if we could combine purposeful uses with psychedelics we could move on to our next step in evolution, which the west desperately needs culturally. Whatever it is, there is something to gain from them but close minded people and psychedelics DO NOT GO WELL! Western culture and society thrive to promote close mindedness and conformity; they want you to be how THEY want you to be. They do not want intelligent free willed open minded people because these are the people who realize how FUCKED the US is in every aspect and how everyone turns a blind eye and goes on with their lives regardless.

All I can remember is this intense build up of energy and then it felt like I was blasted through cannon, it was extremely overwhelming but pleasurable once it peaked. The first thing I hear is something telling me that it is very interested in me and it seemed especially interested in my emotions. I remember it was fucking with my emotions like it was plucking them like a guitar because random emotions got extremely intense. All I can tell you when you experience these things is to ask questions, donâ??t be afraid, if you cant think of anything to ask, then just say show me what you can. They ALWAYS have new tricks and information to blast at you even though you probably only perceive a small fraction of it, it is bizarre and very profound nonetheless.


I could go on forever about this stuff and my experiences with entities and strange dimensions, at least thatâ??s what it seems like. You are not aloneâ?¦


Imagine if we had combined the top researches at NASA with guided purposeful psychdelic trips, specifically mushrooms/DMT, about 20+ years ago.... I can guarentee you we would be inhabiting other planets if not making contact with other beings...

Call me insane, call me crazy, call me whatever the fuck you want, I know what I saw and felt and experienced and there is SO much more out there just waiting for someone(specifically a society) to grab hold of and take them to the next level. Alot of people I know dont experience the things I do on mushrooms and during a trip I learned its because they have invested their belief in false ideas and hopes and have been mislead for so long that they dont know up from down or their dicks from their mouths. So many great ideas and what not have been so twisted and mutilated that they are unrecogizable anymore, and its a fuckin cryin shame. These things include but are not limited to, psychedelics, religion(specifically the Bible/Christianity) culture, society, faith etc.


If anyone has similar ideas or thought patterns let me know, I can go on FOREVER about these topics.

I didn't want to quote your whole post, but that's AMAZING. I've had the exact same experiences more or less considering our personal stance.

But ...I just don't know...I know few others, but that's it, and I've never seen anyone else with such a firm grip on what is actually happening to them.

ok, so i have been reading a cool book, so sue me, it's a cool book.

One of my first trips on a large dose of lsa led me to a very basic but powerful understanding. Earlier that day or week I had remembered reading The Illusion Of Time, but I just let it slip by me.
As the lsa started peaking, I suddenly stumbled onto a very basic but frightening realization: Nothing, absolutely nothing, is for certain. The problem with this, is time. If time were to stand still, that moment would be an eternity. It would make everything as we know it, real, true, perfectly unified factual reality. But because time continues along it's path, because we have to sort out our thoughts slowly and archive our memories while doing it, it creates the notion that there was a yesterday and the idea that there will be a tommorrow. But because we have to do this, to keep hold of memory to even think about existence or survive or even exist at all, nothing is for certain. In the next moment, everthing could be proven wrong and right at the exact same "time".
I might not be explaining this right, i'm sorry, but I know it makes sense because the next morning I re-evaluated everything and it all worked out. The problem with this is that it got me stuck into a continuous loop cycle of thought. I was going crazy. If nothing is for certain, then that in itelf is uncertain, meaning that somethings can be real, but that in itself is uncertain, or is it, considering being uncertain of uncertainty is uncertain, see what I mean? It's a horrifying thought. Best to stay away from it and take reality for granted...

I have projected out fully aware twice but only for a few minutes.
While I was dreaming I was able to do it more and I was able to project and comunicate with others in thier dreams and in the later days speak to those people and they did share the dream with me and remebered the experience.
I have also had other strange out of body type of experiences but I just cant explain them, but they were enough for me to believe in other dimensions. and the exsistence of the mind out side of the physical body.

WeedGremblin I found what you said to be very enlightening and although I am sure you are more knowledgable about these things then I am, I've expierenced enough things to believe that you speak the truth.

I've only done shrooms once, But I found it to be the most rewarding expierence of my life, I only for a short time had the sensation of a bad trip and that was caused by a non-tripping friend to start yelling at me over the phone...I quickly got over it though and was able to enjoy the rest of my journey... I've been practicing meditation my whole life and have had many profound expierences with it, but only about a year or so ago did I begin to attempt astral projection... I had some interesting feelings about it, but finally was able to achieve it for a few seconds but was scared and forced myself back into my body..

Amazed at what I had been through I foolishly told my Mom about it, asking her if she was aware of this kind of thing... well her being the concerned, over-protective mormon mother, she started cutting down at it, telling me that what I was doing was considered "witchcraft" and that I could become "possessed" she then started giving me books to read about people practicing astral projection and then getting consumed by devils and satan.

Now I found it to be ridiculous at first but you'd be surprised how much comments like that can effect your state of mind... A part of me thought that she was simply missinformed but it was enough to freak me out..

Only recently have I begun to practice meditation/mantra's again, and have once again gained a certain inner peace and wisdom that I could not achieve otherwise.

I would like to try shrooms again, I found the trip more then just a visually stunning few hours, it was so spiritual, and enlightening. A part of me was released that was always inside of me but my emotions always got in the way of, emotions such as ego,fear,doubt,and frustration.. But honestly I believe that shrooms, as well as meditation..are tools that mankind could benefit from greatly. It will allow you to be more comfortable with yourself, others, nature, and the universe.

Well it looks like I'm rambling...but I'd really like to talk about these things more with others who might know more about it, I have a lot to learn, and am getting limited support from family...Some of my friends have expressed an interest in these things as well, so all information that is given to me will be passed to them as well...

I think there's a lot to be said for the possible argument that historical accounts of possession and demons are the result of weaker (or maybe just more rigid) minds running head on into infinity.

Long story short, keep a good mindset while tripping. But if you trip enough, you'll eventually go somewhere you've never been.
