parallel dimensions, universe of the mind, time travelling

WeedGremblin I found what you said to be very enlightening and although I am sure you are more knowledgable about these things then I am, I've expierenced enough things to believe that you speak the truth.

I've only done shrooms once, But I found it to be the most rewarding expierence of my life, I only for a short time had the sensation of a bad trip and that was caused by a non-tripping friend to start yelling at me over the phone...I quickly got over it though and was able to enjoy the rest of my journey... I've been practicing meditation my whole life and have had many profound expierences with it, but only about a year or so ago did I begin to attempt astral projection... I had some interesting feelings about it, but finally was able to achieve it for a few seconds but was scared and forced myself back into my body..

Amazed at what I had been through I foolishly told my Mom about it, asking her if she was aware of this kind of thing... well her being the concerned, over-protective mormon mother, she started cutting down at it, telling me that what I was doing was considered "witchcraft" and that I could become "possessed" she then started giving me books to read about people practicing astral projection and then getting consumed by devils and satan.

Now I found it to be ridiculous at first but you'd be surprised how much comments like that can effect your state of mind... A part of me thought that she was simply missinformed but it was enough to freak me out..

Only recently have I begun to practice meditation/mantra's again, and have once again gained a certain inner peace and wisdom that I could not achieve otherwise.

I would like to try shrooms again, I found the trip more then just a visually stunning few hours, it was so spiritual, and enlightening. A part of me was released that was always inside of me but my emotions always got in the way of, emotions such as ego,fear,doubt,and frustration.. But honestly I believe that shrooms, as well as meditation..are tools that mankind could benefit from greatly. It will allow you to be more comfortable with yourself, others, nature, and the universe.

Well it looks like I'm rambling...but I'd really like to talk about these things more with others who might know more about it, I have a lot to learn, and am getting limited support from family...Some of my friends have expressed an interest in these things as well, so all information that is given to me will be passed to them as well...

Im not to familiar with the concepts and history behind astral projections. Im assuming that it is basically like the OBE on psychedelics except it is triggered without the use of substances. I will read up on this technique and get back to you with my thoughts.

Feel free to make a post with questions or anything you want to discuss for that matter, I love talking about this subject, its a slowly but surely developing passion. Weither or not you get past the visual aspect and into the spirtual/hyperspace/unknown aspects is completely up to the user. If they are having trouble reaching this point my suggestion is to eat more or perhaps fast before the trip, which the aztecs i believe it is did.

why think that you leave your body? yes it feels that way, but why wouldn't all these astral/causal worlds be IN your body. the bible says; your body is the temple of god.

when you travel to other worlds, you actiually need a master to guide you. every far spiritually progressed man would say that. it is not the danger of not coming back. you are so attached to this world that you definately will come back. it is that these other worlds, have heavens and hells. the hells will look like heaven and the heavens will look like hell.

in those worlds you don't have the power to discriminate, for you are not familliar enough with it.

the fear not to come back is soo not realistic (when you see the bigger picture). it;s just ego. but it is very hard to lose that fear.

yes, that is why you need a master/teacher to guide you. so you won't go crazy and stay that way.

only with wanting to have a master to guide you there are two problems;
- we western people have trouble to have blind faith in others. the only way your teacher can protect you is by your faith in him, that gives him the power to protect you.
- a lot of masters (well, who call themself masters/guru's) of a plane or world, aren't skilled enough and powerfull enough to guide a disciple through a world, and thus sometimes it goes wrong.

That sounds very Pagan. My girlfriend(who is pagan) told me about how you need a master, how they travel with you and bring you back(Not under the influence, but some other pagan thing that I can't remember.) But I thought all of it was bullshit untill I tryed Salvia. Wow, what a mind-blow.

Sense we are all part of a whole its nothing more than one mind makeing a choice. Give a desicion enough time and it has to be made, for better or worse.

That being said I dont really belive in time strictly how it is.

You can tell some one meet me at 7:30 pm at this spot, but when they really meet you no time has passed.

We only have the present, there is no past and no future, just now.

weedgremlin you sound very aspirational and enlightened in what you do, i understand your point of things, from a cornerstoned view, like to be on a cliff and view the ocean, but never swim in it, which you ahve had the experince of.....

I havent done shrooms, i am waiting for when IT happens, when i realize IT is time, it will all fall in place. THis is hightened awareness we are talking about.
this is what Buddhism is all about.... i just finished plain and simple a book on budhhism and awareness..

u need a sphere, its mass = to the mass of jupiter and compacted into a 2 dimensional circle with the center hollow, spin the circle at the speed of light...

now 1 of 2 things can happen...

1)it will open a worm hole/black hole into a different time period...
or
2) a black hole is created, engulfs the planet and potentially the universe...
