10 days on a bike and camping is fun. ive done a 2 weeker on my wing, only camping out and no hotels....its rough really, what i found is that you cant just leave your bike and go do anything. didnt want my gear to get ripped off. what me and ms whitekat do now is , trailer the bike and do the hotel thing. i find this way, way more enjoyable and if the weather is bad you aint f#cked. good luck and be safe.....
