Voices or just being tired?
Its currently 12:40 A.M. I went to bed at 4:30 or around 5 a.m. yesterday and woke up at 2:30 something the next day or that day to be technical. So give or take 9 hrs of sleep. It didn't feel like enough and actually woke up kinda tired.. Because I did the same thing before and woke up later, better and refreshed. To the point. I am pretty tired right now actually. and just now or a couple minutes ago I was hearing voices.. As strange as that is.. I am curious though, when your tired is it possible for your mind to play tricks on you? And just fyi I quit smoking about a month ago and started jogging everyday beginning this month, excluding 3 days. This has been on my mind for ages.. Does the mind need a rest once in a while or what? I have been sitting at the computer ALOT lately, maybe thats it?
Thanks for hearing my thoughts guys!

Yes, fatigue can make crazy things happen and make your mind play tricks on you. Fatigue and sleep deprivation are two of the factors that can cause symptoms that mimic psychosis.
Get some rest and see if you're still having the problem. If, after plenty of sleep for two or three days, you're still hearing voices--and if you're sure there's no radio or TV on somewhere in the distance--then you can be worried!\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

I really don't know all that much. It's just that medicine and related topics interest me, and so when I read or hear something even remotely related, I remember it.
I saw a thing on a "Dr. Phil" show earlier this year about some people who thought their mom was psychotic because she was hearing voices and acting very strange. But she'd never shown psychotic symptoms at the normal time when schizophrenia and other psychotic illnesses come on--like between the ages of 18 and 24. Turns out, she was badly sleep deprived. They had two sleep doctors on the show who explained how sleep deprivation can mimic mental illness and psychosis.
Anyway, now you know. It was Dr. Phil, not me . . . .\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

Do you feel discomfort in social situations, have odd beliefs, fantasies, or preoccupations, exhibit odd behavior or appearance, have odd speech, no close friends, and, have inappropriate displays of feelings?
Some people may be helped by antipsychotic medications, but in many cases talk therapy is preferred.

LMAO^^ Thats when its worst for me man, jp
. But seriously, beach guy 1 or 2 of those. But those things can be dismissed off VERY EASILY, fantasies (who does'nt have this once in a while?), exhibit odd behavior (Yeah I do, then again don't we all?..Thats what makes us unique, is it not?), feel discomfort in social situations (Not terribly, sometimes people think I am gay or something because of the way I walk...Long story lmao.. And they comment about it or some shit, they don't know I have REALLY good ears
 . But this category can mostly be squeezed into High School day of life.) Also beachguy, I am not trying to rank on you man just make a point brother, you know I respect your posts alot. So no worries amigo:thumbsup: !
I am always leaving a wall of text for you guys, sorry
