I don't mean to be obvious, but have you tryed having someone call your phone for you or is it on silent or something?

NO my phone was on loud but it was having a problem with service, and it wouldnt ever geet any, not even one bar, it always said no service, so when you call it it would ring on the end yur calling from, but the actual phone wouldnt ring becuase it wouldnt pick up service, and now my phone died. I know this becuase my mom told me she heard the low battery noise and went into every room to hear for it, but she said she stopped becuase they were to far apart to sit in one room doin nothing for 10 minutes waiting to hear a beep.....short answer...yes, i did try calling it
