Talfrn I would avoid plastic bags. They can sufficate the plants. I do not know how hard your frost are but they can't be real hard frost so just use a blanket or heavy sheet that way they can still breath. Or like previous post use garbage can plastic one if you it will insulate better than metal, metal one can hold the cold in them and if you do use metal remove soon as you can next morning when sun in sky.
