Thank you, I feel the same way towards you. It's few and fare between the people that are like us. We disagree with each others view points but we are tolerant of each others views just as long as we are not mindless people that just follow what some want them to follow.

It's odd to me at times when I hear things like that. As you know I am a spiritual person. I even put at the bottom of all my posts Soldier for Christ. I see things as spiritual battles. When I hear you had a bad day as well to me it seems like we were set up by someone or somethings to see how we would react and if we would in deed battle. We did but all the insults and bad reactions we quickly turned around the next post throwing that whole trap layed by someone or something right out the window.

you know the person, he believes he could do whatever he wanted without remorse then simply ask forgivness and live forever as long as he goes to church.

I have meet many people like that. In fact for a moment in my life I felt the same. If I didn't come across this verse I might still be in that mind set. The verse I refer to:

I would just like to say that scientists have broken down the very building blocks of this universe and now know what it is composed of they now think they might be made of particles even smaller than nutrinos(proton,electron,neutron) but unless the next smallest particles are a white haired glowing man this is almost proof enough god doesnt exists.

Well fuck that is also up for debate as some could say hes apart of our soul somthing that cant be sensed by our worldly sesnses and the soul could also be up for debate so this this can wait for a whole other thread.

I was going to mention the soul but I can't even prove it exists as I can't God so I agree thats a whole other debate I'd rather not get into.

Well what i meant by saying you were being contradictory was that christians arent allowed to be rude to their brother but your faith explains this well in with sins.

What you wrote is a slight truth. We as Christians shouldn't be rude cause it gives us a bad name when they find out your Christian but there are no rules like don't be rude, always talk nice, etc. The Bible tells us to Love our neighbor and thats what we should do but being rude isn't mentioned. I do apoligize if I was rude though.

I agree it come natural to me to be a smart ass. It's very hard to stop. But there are no rules saying we can't. It just makes our cause/religion look bad. Just like all those Christians with Jesus bumper stickers. I can't stand it when I see one on a car that just cut me off then gave me the bird. It just gives Christians a bad name because they have that logo that shows they are Christian.

Another resaon i dont understand your faith why would god want us to not do so many things that just come natural almost by instinct not free will.

The thing here is everyone is convicted of different things. I curse alot, I don't feel guilty for doing it. My father doesn't cause but when he does he feels guilty. There are no set rules for Christians to follw since Christ died and freed us from all the old rules and laws of the old testament. One of the verses I use to talk to other Christians about my cannabis ministry is:

Do not allow what you consider good to be spoken of as evil.

Everyone is convicted differently. I believe cannabis is good most other Christiasn view it as evil but I point out to them that everyone is convicted different and they are speaking bad about something I hold in high regard.

Which oddly enough brings up another reason i dont believe, if there was a god an entity that was apart of all of us and everything and this being was our father and creator how wouldnt he be able to at least be able to get the point through to us that he is the one and only.

I love the forrest. I love cannabis. Both help me feel God's presence. When I'm high in the forrest "forget about it". What if the way he wants to get people to see the point is through people like myself. One that will talk normally (or at least close to normally) with out bringing up all the thou shalt and so and so begat this guy and he begat that guy etc. What if all us Christians are the way God is trying to open and show who, what, and why
he is. The song imagine I'm not to firmilar with but I'll look into it. For a second the song "What if God was one of us" was popping in my head but I know the beatles wouldn't do something that horrible. That whole song I can only think ok yell in my head "He was one of us, He did walk around like us. His name was and is Jesus." Of course thats just me.

The devil may be able to use our free will to tempt us towards sins but certainly he cant be strong enough to blind us from our creator who mind you can do EVERYTHING which is a word our minds can not even grasp.

YOur right satan isn't strong enough, but he has had enough times to set up the perfect arena to battle in. Look at everything around us. Then look back into the history of everything. The church has had a bad name for along time. If I was satan and wanted to bring God down a notch in his creations eyes the church would be the first place I'd send my menions. It's only the Christian God Jesus Christ. I mean come on even people of my faith use it daily. Everytime I hear it I just look up and then drop down yelling "he isn't coming yet is he" that drops a jaw every now and then.

Well thats how i really see people i guess dillusional is a little harsh but i really do see people who believe in god to have some sort problem with accepting reality and therefore buildings these boundries wich just brings trouble to every one.

I admit that I do build boundry. Of course I don't see much wrong with boundries. Accapting reality I think is a must. In fact I think it would be wrong to try and make a false reality. For example I don't like how my dad views things. I tell him he lives in a bubble cause all he see's is church things. Being a pastor I think puts you in a bubble well at least certain pastors are in that bubble. All they do is Church on Sunday, mon-sat they are visiting church members, fixing the church, going to hospitles, etc. They spend ZERO time in the real world where thier congragation lives in 24/7.

So they see this relaxing feeling you get during meditation as a feeling of being near god and then you get answers suddenly when really it was just relaxation and your own brain. And from there get used to this process as talking with god because thats what it was introduced to most people as.

For me I do listen to that voice when I'm medatating. I believe God lives in all of us. I believe God is apart of our self-conscience. No one knows where the conscience came from or how it knows right or wrong so to me the only explainable thing is it's the Holy Spirit. It has NEVER told me to do something wrong it's only let me know what is right and wrong. I choice because I have free will. I don't choose the right one all the time even thou I know what I should be doing.

I'm sorry to hear what your mom has done to you conserning weed, school, etc. To it's just another way evil fucks with us Christians. It makes some of us fanatics and gives everyone they know a bad example of what a Christian should be. Making my job as a minister very hard.

telling her how i really feel or what my real thoughts on many things are would just cause her uneeded pain for her when saying what i really think brings me no reward anyway.

I'm 27, I first told my dad how I felt six years ago. The first conversation was very scary for me cause the last time I talked with my dad about everything (cannabis) he told me I'd be disowned. I let him have it for not being there for me while growing up, for always making church first in our family rather then our family first, for making very vacation I went on a church experiance. From camp outs to conventions everything was God/Chruch growing up for me. I realized I would never be the full me if I didn't get all my thought and feeling about my family off my chest. I wouldn't be the thing I am today if I didn't first let it all go and start a new relationship as father and adult son. It does cause strife but it smooths over into something else. Mutual respect.

Someday i know the proof will be proof somthing new is proven everyday just a matter of time in my eyes. And i know that at least i put more thought into my beliefs while my mother has always believed always undoubtfull. Thats how she was raised she was pretty much taught to believe in god. Thats why most people cant put up a good defense on what they believe if one at all.

I don't think that will ever happen but wishful thinking is always good. I was taught my religion. I examined my religion and had to reteach myself cause I had been taught others convictions. I'm glad I did cause if I didn't I would have never know God make weed for us and we can enjoy it cause we cannabis users are very thankful for it.

Even so i dont like being around people who just believe somthing will happen or work or come true just on faith and not real systematic break down and solving of the problem.

You would hate to play poker against me then. I'm always haveing faith the next card will be mine. I've even prayed it would but most of the time it's not.

But on this subject i still think god mgiht just be apart of peoples subconcious that they feel is god but really them coming to their own conclusions as i said before.

I understand your point and I would hav most likey ageed but there was a day many years ago that I didn't come to any conclution or any gut feeling but I was prepared cause of something my conscience said. I was smoking one day in my bedroom cause I had six other roommates and they were all out of weed and had been dipping in my stash (whole other story) anyways out of the blue my conscience said "Be prepared" I had no clue what I thought that for but later I learned what I was supposed to be prepared about. On eof my roommates was a child melester and we had a child living in my house. The little boy said he had touched him and myself I would have killed the guy if it wasn't for the out of the blue "Be prepared" of course I could have been prepared with the gloves, ax, pick, baggies, etc. But I was prepared mentally cause of that warning.

I don't know about the chatholic Bible it might be in there but the movie SEVEN wasn't true cause I never found anything about seven deadly sins in my BIble.

People who believe in god work more for the life after this instead of working for this life now.

I see that and I have choosen not to live that way. I accept the freedom God gave and I run with it.

I've been wondering that for years. Atcually three years since the last time I went to a church building.
