I had this whole story and examples explaining my view about your question but it got erased cause I took to long then pushed submit so I'll make it short and sweet.

We watch the same TV shows, We buy the same fast foods, We buy the same popular cloths, We listen to the same type music, We hear the same lame excusses from out parents, We watch the same movies.

We are being molded from the first day of school. The earthly higher powers want us all to be alike and they've been trying to make us alike for many many years. Conformaty is the goal.

The reason we all seem to have the same qualities in my opinion is we copy things we like about others. I've noticed I say certain words differently because the person or persons I admire say them that way. I used to act a certain way because I was with a group of friends that would accept me if I acted that way. In some form or another we are all conforming to things we like or unconforming (if thats a word) to the things we dislike.
