    How do I do this?

I have grown about 4 or 5 differant strains and I can't figure out how to make my cannabis smell like cannabis.
It always smell like freshly mowed grass
I want it to smell like the cannabis I buy at the cannabis club
does anyone know any techniques to give my cannabis a more pungent smell?

I've wondered the same recently. Glad to see someone else scratching a head over this lack of an æsthetic aspect too.

I'm hoping it has no relevence to eventual top end potentcy. Otherwise...a plant with it's own stealth smell is fine with me.

No doubt though I'm on it asap if theres something having to do with a dankstank and potentcy.

Yes, the curing is the process of slow drying. Once the buds have been dryed for about a week [Depending on size of colas] you then put them in a sealed container. Once their in the container [Mason Jars are good, altohugh i dont use them] you have to open the container for 30 - 60 mins a day for about 4 - 6 weeks.

This slow drying process breaks down the Chlorophyl and other chemicals in the weed which gives it the grassy flavour that you dont want.

Also curing activates THC and cannabinoids, so cured bud is almost always stronger than un cured fresh bud. I know this from personal experience with me LR.

Right right...that much I've read and hope will bring out something in the over-all experience.

But...that still leaves me curious as to why a few weeks ago, things here had that yummy aroma...and now its gone. Recently, I was away for 2 days...figured that'd be good for a resest of my olfactory hub and be able to smell it when I got back...nada.

I'll just have to wait and see how it is after the curring.

Fertilize with molasses to maximize aromatic potential.
