Yeah, you don't want to mix boiling water with ice, trust me. I once put some glasses that came from the cold outside into a dishwasher at this resturaunt I used to work at. The dishwasher gets very hot and the glasses were ice cold, and every glass exploded inside the dishwasher.

Doing that same thing will make your bong blow the fuck up or crack.

Just use ice cold water in a bong. That's as smooth and cool as it gets, and if your weed is still harsh after using ice or ice water in your bong, then you need some new weed.
