    stem of plant

i have a quick question about a plant.
the plant is getting pretty big now and i looked at the bottom and saw this huge trunk. well it snot that huge
its like a size of a glue stick, is it normal for it to have grown this big? is it a good sign?

sorry im a bit paranoid seeing this is my first grow and i want a good healthy mama to cut down.
