My friend is unable to get high, it seems.

One of my best friends seems to have trouble getting high. I don't mean like a little bit of trouble either. I sat down with him the other day and watched him smoke 3 full bowls of some decent mids mainly to himself. On top of that, I was sharing the blunt I had rolled for myself with him. He didn't get high in the least bit according to him (I was quite baked after sharing 3 bowls and a blunt, lol). I know he's doing all of it right, because he's holding it in for probably an upwards of 20 seconds before exhaling and he exhales a lot of smoke on top of that. I made sure he wasn't torching the weed in the bowl too much as well.

He told me before that he wasn't able to get high at all no matter what he smoked (he claims even the almighty white widow didn't work for him). I was a little doubtful which is why I was with him while he smoked these bowls to himself. I thought maybe he just wasn't doing it right, and gave him tips while he smoked. However, much to my disbelief, he still wasn't able to feel its effects. It makes no sense at all to me.

You guys have any suggestions as to how to get my cannabis-immune friend high?

your dumb obviously hes not inhaling...share the weed with people who know how to smoke.

Maybe he has naturally high tolerance. If these were his first few times, maybe he needs to wait a while before he tries again. But it's not altogether unheard of that someone can't get high from smoking.

if you dont get high your first time its because you dont know how to smoke perioud.

He's inhaling large amounts and holding them in for 20+ seconds..I know it's a large amount as well, as I can see it when he exhales. It seems he knows what he's doing, at least in my views.

This isn't his first time trying, as I mentioned in my post. He's tried on a countless number of different occasions with no success.

He may just be one of these people. This wasn't one his first few times; he's tried a lot in the past. It really makes no sense to me either, lol. Do you think I should try weed in a recipe to see if it works for him then?

Trust me theyres not such a thing as resistant to high levels of thc or cannabinoids... Hes just sucking in the smoke doesnt mean hes actually breathing it in and opening his lungs.

My prescription: A hit off an asthma inhaler (to open bronchial tubes) then a few hits off a gravity bong. Make sure he inhales and holds it in as long as possible. Repeat as necessary.
