I'm sort of a photography buff and used to be very good with 35mm black-and-white and color. These days with digital, I'm trying to re-learn some skills, and I need to get a new camera and work at it more. I can't find all the necessary cables and chargers for my current camera, so it's useless until I replace them or get a new one. I took three photography courses during college and used to teach it when I was teaching journalism to high school kids. I have fairly good darkroom skills.

My best work has always been at shooting people, particularly candid shots of children, and and animals. Photographing living beings is much more compelling to me than inanimate objects.

I never really had the time, aside from when I was younger, to really explore. I have an old Canon AE-1 that my father gave me years ago. I need to get some work done it on it though. THen I have a Minolta Maxxum 370si which I've used here and there. I'm shopping for lenses for this one as I only have a basic 35-70 for it.
