I concur, coughing seems to increase the high. When I cough it's really violent, and I think I pulled a muscle in my back once just from coughing. So I avoid really harsh hits like I avoid shit weed. It's just not worth it.

Generally, lotsa light hits. I hate it when people torch the bowl and try to be all bad ass and cough it all back up, its like hey jackass thanks! At least they don't blow out the bowl like one of my friends has twice in a row now...

Hell ya man... almost all of my friends torch the fuckin bowl and i never get any green hits... but i've been smoking since i was 11 (im 16 now) and i have become very experienced... i consider smoking pot an art, and once you master it, your weed lasts longer, gets u stonder, and your lungs are a lot stronger...

I light just a little bit of the bowl (about 1/5 of the right side) and then i use my tongue and throat to replicate the bubbling action of a bong and also pump... i get massive hits and then hold them until i have to let them out or the pipe gets back to me... I think that torching the bowl is a waste of weed, and i would like to slap people for it... and i would also like to slap people for not holding their hits... it takes 30 seconds for half of the thc in the smoke to condense and enter your bloodstream... so i usually make people follow the 5 second rule

coughing does make the weed effect u more... it causes your throat to get small tears, giving a direct path between smoke and blood, plus it makes your diaphragm stronger and ur throat too

Bongs: Usually get it going with a nice sized hit. try to prevent any cherry on the bong. Later towards the end go for Godzilla hits. Gotta finish that sucker.

pipes: light lightly until u feel a little tingle in the lungs then pass.

joints: don't be a douchebag and use ur full lung capacity when inhaling. i have a friend that does that. when someone does that stick ur hand out and urge them to pass it. May be a rude thing to do, but fuck them!
