WHITE SPOTS.. HELP!! =(
hi, my 1 week from clone is showing white spots all over, mostly from the old leaves.. most of the new leaves are healthy but some are lightly developing these spots.. the tainted leaves feel dryer than the healthy ones.. anyone know the source of this problem? if so what can i do in the future to prevent this from occuring?
what i did was: i planted these clones into miracle gro potting mix soil (.16/.16/.16), then from there I sprayed it with a diluted mixture of 20/20/20 nutes once every 4 days or so and watered when appropriate about 200ml per day.. oh and i forgot to mention, when they were clone I was afraid they were dying because they were in, pardon me for a lack of a better word, wrapped balls of soil (not sure what the proper term is but it was soil wrapped in a cotton meshy kind of sheet), but I didn't have the soil or setup completed so I decided to spray it with the diluted nutes mentioned earlier. I sprayed to keep it moist and alive.. maybe this could be the source of the problem since most of it is occuring on the old leaves? im not sure.. any help is appreciated, thanks...
oh btw.. my setup: 2'x3'x9', in 6 pots, with 7 clones, 4x30W flouro (2x daylight, 2x cool) hope this is sufficient lighting since i read 40W/sq ft is good but i think im gonna have trouble later when the plant gets bigger, how is it gonna receive the light?! ah well anyways that problem i will tackle later.. not sure what exactly is the seed, but looks like indica.. sorry im still a beginner, this is my first grow and hopefully it goes well. sorry, no pictures because i'd have to move my computer for the webcam to reach but if its really needed i guess i can make the arrangement.. thanks again... :rasta:tekneeqs Reviewed by tekneeqs on . WHITE SPOTS.. HELP!! =(
If the mites dont kill them your feeding schedule will 20/20/20 is ment for like every 2 weeks if your are spraying the leaves with it, it may burn them. with florecent lights and mircle grow soil you probaly don't need to give them any ferts for the 1st month, then every 2 weeks, water only in between that.

WHITE SPOTS.. HELP!! =(
UGU, sorry but I didn't quite understand what u said.. did u just tell me not to kill the mites? if so, isn't that quite the opposite if Im trying to save my crop? well either way, i've cleaned the leaves with a mixture of Irish Spring bar soap and water.. i let it dry then rinsed it clean with water.. i read this somewhere, to use Ivory flakes, but I figured they're both the same thing, bar soaps, that is. also, I've gotten some of the soap into the soil (not much, but it was so hard to avoid when im wetting the leaves). I hope this doesn't worsen it or something.. thanks

WHITE SPOTS.. HELP!! =(
Oh sorry i understood now that i re-read it after checking to see if any updates to this thread lol.. Ya I sprayed it with a diluted mixture though.. I havn't watered it with fertilizer yet.. I've only sprayed it with a diluted solution.. Probably like 1/4.. Anyways, I'll take ur advice and stop. Just water every second day and fertilize a month later. Thanks!
