after a year, checking back in

Well it's been over a year since I've posted here, and just as long since my b has seen fire. Until recently- work nights at a hotel, and a guest complained that someone left herb rolled up in his towel he found when he checked in. I said bring that down here, and we'll go ahead and comp your room.

Of course I disposed of the contraband properly. Now I'm kind of fucked.

Well they claimed they just found it there, so supposedly the last person staying in that room stashed it and forgot about it, and housekeeping failed to replace the towel. Now stoners forget and losealot of stuff, but THAT is generally the one thing they keep up with (or we rather, since I'm once again back in full force).

My theory is, it was their weed all along. They figured, hey if the night man smokes weed, and we "find" some in our room, maybe we can get a free room out of it. And even if he doesn't smoke, it's still the equivalent of finding a bug or food or something that would 100% your room anyways. Just playing both sides I think. They figured a $10 investment in weed would save them $100 on their room. Regardless, their plan worked.

Yeah I was kind of joking; I meant fucked in the sense that I am smoking again.

When she brought it down, I did my best to look shocked and disgusted (inside my head i was jumping for joy and hearing the intro to kashmere), and lifted up a garbage can over the desk, then gestured for her to throw it away, as if I didn't want to touch it. Nabbed it later. Then the story was I never touched it, because SHE threw it away.

Wasn't top shelf stuff, but at least it didn't have seeds in it (and after a year of not smoking, it didn't take much). But there's no question I'm going to be needing something fluffy, sticky, and fruity again soon.
