Affordable/Practical Alternatives or...cheap tip of the day!

i work in a kitchen and never pay for any potting containers. you can get everything from 1gal to 5gal. youd be suprised at just how many containers are thrown out from kitchens. all you have to do is look out back. most everything that comes in is in some kind of container that is perfect for growing.

After tons of shopping, browsing, looking, brain storming etc...there is much about a good grow that the grower shouldn't want to 'go cheap' on. Bulbs, ballasts, pH/tds meters and automated systems to name a but a few. Saving money on items less critical than grow light set-ups, carbon filters, good nutrients, CO2 and such...means having more money available to purchase things a grower ought not be frugal about. (who wouldn't spend the extra money on a more comfy toilet paper eh) Rating: 5

Yes!!! I got all my 3-gallon deep square pails from the Tex-mex place I used to cook at. Freaking 30 of them and the owner was like, no seriously, PLEASE get these out of my basement.

I don\'t claim to know the first thing about growing anything; hell, I can\'t make a Chia pet sprout.

I recycle my flush by feeding the leftovers to all sorts of different other houseplants in and around the place.

    Well...

Heres the one for this day...

When doing a fast dry using your oven...a ventilated pizza or shoe box will get you a more uniform, quicker dry time, and a nice buffer tween your bud and the high enough to vaporize thc temps that come off the oven's elements.

Pizza box is preferred, shoe box will do.
