    Well, I'm out

Of smoking that is. I used to love weed so much, I got higher than anybody I've ever seen, but I just can't stand the stuff anymore.

I know this sounds weired, but in the past while everytime I smoke it actually increases my physical pain. I was using it to numb the neurological pain throughout my back, neck, and legs and it was working wonderfully. Then I noticed it was actaully increasing things, so I went off for 6 weeks and when I came back my tolerance was down but I still had the same problem.

Not to mention, my highs don't accentuate music, food, movies, or anything else anymore, and I don't feel pleasurable in the least, just kind of slower.

So, I've been off for 3 days now and I don't intend on going back. I may have the occasional toke in the future like on my birthday or something, but that's it. I don't know if I'll sell all my pipes off, but I'm definately keeping my Gandalf pipe! I love that thing regardless, I got a genuine briarwood pipe that's exactly the one Gandalf smoked in The Lord Of The Rings, about 2 months ago. So I'll be keeping my baby.

anywhoo, just thought I'd share, and I was curiuos if anybody's ever heard of weed increasing physical pain before. Happy toking my good friends, enjoy every moment of the plant I used to.

Love is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

The 10-fold increase in pain is always a good incentive. Regardless, why stick to it when everything I loved about the weed is no longer attainable anyway.

heh, yeah I smoked many times out of it, and have enjoyed it greatly . I got it at a place here in town calledl "maryjanes headquarters". I had been coming in for a few weeks hoping they'd have one (after watching the fellowship of the ring again) and finally the owner just ordered me one in, which I thought was pretty cool. It was $80, $91 after taxes. Though I can't find the chord to the digital camera unfortunately.

its alot quicker to quite if you dont associate with weed at all, dont hang out with stoner buddies, dont come on here, dont look at your pipes and it'll make it alot easier(thats if your even having troubles quitting though)...

You trying to drive out a fellow B.C.er 3rdeyevision?

nah, I don't need to do any of that. It may be hard when you're quitting for health/social/work reasons, but I just plain feel like crap when I smoke and have no desire to feel that way anymore. *sigh* ah well, it was nice while it lasted, I'll miss those days when I'd turn on Iron Maiden's "Paschendale" after smoking a bowl and absolutely trip out to heaven during that solo (and many others of course).
