    couple of quick(easy) questions

    jgeezy,

18/6 or 24/0 will work, or any variaton of the two, just be sure to give the plants at least 18 hours of light during veg, and whatever light pattern you go with...keep it consistent!

The plants wont flower at all until you introduce them to more darkness in the light cycle (12/12). You control when the plants flower by the length of time you leave the lights on. I would let them get to at least 8-12 inches if you want any significant bud production. Be aware of the space you have for growth. In the first two weeks of a 12/12 cycle the plants will usually shoot up significantly before flowering totally kicks in. It's possible that they will double in height (mine usually grow slightly more than double). So a one foot plant at day 1 of flowering may end up 24-26" tall, plus or minus a few inches depending on strain, by time you see buds forming. Once again, more importantly this time...keep the 12/12 cycle consistent!!. I cant stress this enough, any changes in light cause stress on the plant and stress during the first few weeks of flowering tends to produce males or hermies, both of which suck.
