alright buk. you start seeing new growth about 7 to 10 days after going 18/6 again. the first time i done this was with a white widow grow.It was accidental actually after harvesting 8 ww i left the cut down plants in my grow room with the lights on and when i went back up a week later i saw that new growth had started so now every time i have an exceptional strain with good genetics i alway re veg for cuttings though thw ww i done was for the smoke and to tell you the truth i yielded more from them than the first time around. and every time i have re vegged thats seems to be the case the plants seem to grow more vigorously second time around giving more nodes and shoots(perfect for cuttings). anyway as soon as you see new growth then re pot dint re pot until you see new growth i have done this and the plant takes way longer to re veg as it is shocked from the repost. When re-potting give the root mass a slap about a bit to remove as much old soil as possible without damaging the root mass then bathe the roots in a week super thrive mixture and re pot after a day or two when the plant gets over the shock it will grow vigorously and if re-vegging for to take to harvest before going into 12/12 trim all the weak and thin shoot of the plant ,you know the ones that wont be able to support any decent buds there is usually loads at the bottom of the plant after rev-veg (these can be used as clones) give some cal mag+ and a good feed with a high nitrogen food and let it do its thing. You will notice that the leaves are a bit weird at first unfolding from the old calyxes from the Small bud sites that have been left on from previous grow.pic#1 starting with 1 finger at first pic#2then 3 .pic#3.once the leaves start growing normally again then you can take your cuttings or put it back under 12/12 .Dont take any cuttings until the plant has fully re-vegged as they struggle trying to re-veg and root at the same time hope this helps mate best of luck with the seeds. they are now indoors and getting ready to start pic#4thanks all for your comments and be safe everyone . the postman.
postmandave Reviewed by postmandave on . RE-VEGING FOR CUTTINGS I got this wicked wicked Jamaican strain from mobay it was so good i had to keep it in my garden ,so after i crossed it with white Russian and cut it down i leached the soil reported and added some fish emulsion and blood meal and threw it out in the garden as you can see in pic #1 it was cut right back . All i done was left 3 little bud site on it to encourage new growth and the result being pic#2 as you can see it looks like three plants now with 3 main stems emerging from the bud sites.
