homemade vaporizer

so i recently bought a soldering iron for 1.58 casue i had to solder some stuff. well thats a different story anyways one night my friend called me up and told me that he just bought an ounce of my lady friend mary jane and told me to come over the next day. well i got all excited and such inside and decided that i wanted to go to the next level with my weed experience. i wanted a vaporizer. so i checked online and realized that my poor ass could never afford to buy one. then it slapped me right in the face, hey man make your own you mcgyver son of a bitch. so i ghetto rigged the cheap soldering iron to a block of wood i found and a sobe cap. then i grabbed my moms melon baller and ghetto rigged that as the bowl. i must say its pretty bitchin and it tokes up quite nicely:stoned:

its kinda hard to see the bowl casue the flash reflected off the shiny surface so i drew this picture so you could understand how i made it. im not sure if it in fact makes it more efficient but i figured its gotta help some.

basically the left picture is when the top isnt on and then you put the weed in. then you put the top on which is just a smaller bowl than the bottom. thats when it looks like the right picture. i figured it would point excess heat downward. it takes about 3 minutes from a cold start to make a full bowl be done vaporizing. its awesome. all i do is load it, put the top on, screw on my sobe bottle with hose attachment, wait, then toke. it tastes kinda funny but its definetely worth it. let me know what you think

That's pretty damn creative, but i'm sure it does taste funny. Cuz there's prolly still some led on that iron, eww! lol.
Dude, take some better pictures, cuz i too can't grasp exactly how it is used!
What's the sobe bottle for? Where do you toke from? And how does the weed get from the solder to you?

i just make mine with a light bulb and use a candle to heat it up

Yah I use a light bulb all cleaned out and hollowed out, then you cut the whole top off of a water bottle (cap and about 2 inches down) and take off the cap, tape the bottom part of the bottle to the open end of the lightbulb. Then poke a hole for a carb and then a big one for a straw or a hollow pen or sumthin to suck it up. Then put the pot down in the lightbulb, take a lighter, wait for it to vape (looks freekin awesome) then hold the carb and suck'er up!
