(sorry for double post)

Oh, and another thing, what did Canada ever do for anybody?

Let's see, my personal favorite is the War of 1812, when Americans try to invade but fail miserably. How about WW1, we were there from the beginning, and we fought at key battles, Canadian troops were world-renowned for their toughness and courage (read a non-American history book, you might find out more). We fought in WW2, again from the very beginning, and our troops were vital in the invasions, such as D-Day and the re-taking of Italy. Our prime-minister negotiated a peace treaty at the end of the Suez Canal crisis on 1956 and averted what could have been another big war, and won a Nobel Peace Prize for it (Lester B. Pearson). We are a country loved and respected around the world for our peace keeping efforts since then, in such places as Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Rwanda. There's a lot more, but that's what I can think of off the top of my head.

Canada has done a lot, it's just that Americans don't know about it, or pretend not to know....
