We've never in the whole history of man kind faced a problem like we'll be facing soon, yeah we may get through it in the end, but there will be mass deaths, more than ever. Water crisis, food crisis, polution crisis, energy crisis, possible nuclear and other forms of devistating new warfar, and global warming, all those crises and more will be converging in around the same time period.

Who's giving up? I think we should be trying to prevent these crises, but Bush(someone who actually could provide the leadership to help prevent them.) apparently doesn't care.

ahhhh no.in 2000 the supreme court upheld the florida CONSTITUION by ruling that gorew trying to recount the votes 4 times(wich he lost everytime even when the news networks said gore had won florida an hour before the polls even closed considering there is a different timezone in the northern part of florida"bush country")so the poor dems couldnt "mysteriously"find some more votes(ha).and the dems got their ASS BEAT everywhere in this country in '04.they are just sore LOSERS!!stay outta american politics son

Only time will tell.

Some of those crises i mentioned are already happening in poorer countries, I think its only a matter of time before they start effecting us in more significant ways. Its already extreme in some parts of the world, its just not effecting the richer countries very heavily yet.

and i agree we should do more to help the poor.luckily we have money(lots)and the kind of problems they face open our eyes to them and we curb them before they hit.
