If you didn't know, liberals want CHANGE. Conservatives don't, they want things to stay the same for the most part (and are all for religion and anything religion related, etc). Back in the 20-30s, conservatives didn't want all the liberal changes, such as women's new role in society (individuals, rather than speak when spoken too, stay at the home, and to not work). Also, they didn't believe in most the changes being created, and didn't like the city life.

I would like to add my comment to this thread but I am not thinking exceptionally clear due to the NHL lockout.

I care much more about hockey than I do anything else. (although the previous statement might have been caused by irrational thought caused by lack of viewing professional hockey). If George W decided to buy a hockey team and get the NHL going again I don't see how that can be bad thing.

I am sick and tired of Americans spouting bullshit about how Bush went to Iraq to save the Iraqis who were suffering under Saddam Hussein's violent rule.

Did the US do anything to stop Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia?
Did the US do anything to stop what happened in Rwanda?
Did the US do anything to stop what's going on in Sudan? (Do any of you have any idea of where that even is?)
