Wish I could have "manned" up. But I'm a girl and a squeamish one when it comes to dead birds, mice, or small yard bunnies, all of which I've had to dispose of.

Laugh all you want. My husband and son refused to move the partial dead bird for me because they said it was good fertilizer for the side yard.

So I put on a long-sleeved shirt, latex gloves, a surgical face mask, and my biggest sunglasses and went out there with a long pair of metal tongs and a paper towel. I put the paper towel down on the body, then grabbed the covered remains with the tongs. I walked to the back border of my yard and tipped the remains over the fence into some grass but managed to retain the paper towel.

I trashed the paper towel, sprayed the tongs with Clorox CleanUp and put them in the dishwasher, and then washed my hands twice. The whole thing was gross.
